Rules for Happy Living; Fab-ruary 4

  1. Be kind to everybody, even when they're rude.
  2. Don't make a bigger mess than you can tidy up.
  3. Sometimes your Mother is right. But you still need to decide your next action yourself.
  4. If you don't know what's your happy, how you gonna be happy?
  5. When you make a mistake, own it, try to make it right and then move on.
  6. At times of fear, trouble or stress, a cup of tea is the best medicine.

  1. I rarely drink tea so my medicine of choice is wine. Good rules to live by.

    1. Wine is only applicable after 6pm as long as I don't have to drive. That being said, if I were to turn to drink, I think it would either be pear cider or snowballs that caught me, one of which can make me really drunk and the other I would have to really work at!!!

    1. If all else fails, apply tea liberally. I have been known at times of crisis to just make the tea as my default action.

  3. Absolutely love all of them! Great! Number 2 made me LOL as I am currently surrounded the biggest mess of my life, tidying the remaining 'bits' (oh how I wish they were 'bits'!) of my scrapbooking supplies....love number 6: a cup of tea is, of course, the only decent refuge some days! And hits the spot like nothing else can...!

  4. If I can substitute number 6 for hot chocolate in winter and Diet Coke in Summer than I can be in with these. Well apart from number 2 - I will never be able to manage number 2!!!!

  5. I'm with you on the tea, there's not much a good brew can't fix. And there's wine for the other bits.

  8. Very good rules to live by indeed! Tea was never my thing until some years ago when I was having some troubles and now it is my go to soother and a wonderful thing it is too! xx

  9. I am not a tea drinker but coffee has the same effect on my wellbeing. I do regularly make more mess than I can tidy. But at least I think I am kind even if I don't feel like it sometimes. x

  10. Yep, wise words there. If in doubt, put the kettle on and make a cup of tea, that's what I always do. xx
