Ta Dah! Granny Cushion finished

It was a really quick make; one day for the front, an evening for the back and a bit of a morning to join and bind. Aside from the fact that it didn't even need a pattern (duh. It's a granny square) and the most complicated bit was the border (a row of single crochet, and then the two colour border I used on my ripple blanket. It's bright, it's colourful and it's comfortable.

      I so want to make more..... I'm thinking a granny stripe, a mini granny square and a straight stripe cushion cover might do it!

    My Easter break was a pleasure; I got so much done! This was really a quick knit, perhaps because after a while you don't count, you just know 'three'

I really need to introduce you to my latest hooky love, before it gets finished and I end up not telling you the back story. Let me show you what I'm on about first; World, meet Autumn Ripple Blanket (Autumn for short). You see, I have a granny square with flowers and a black background blanket that I'm desperate to finish for my bedroom, and a list of decorative items I'd like to do for Autumn and Christmas, so I sat down last week to make an Autumn Inspirations board on Pinterest (like you do) and made this; https://www.pinterest.com/angeljem5/autumn-and-fall/ and I loved the colours and the feelings it aroused in me. I love reading all the house books that I can lay my hands on, ripping them to pieces and sticking them into my inspiration books.
