This book sits very nicely on the shelf with the other 'so long to do this' books, like The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possibleor Gretchen Rubins books, Happier at Home: Kiss More, Jump More, Abandon a Project, Read Samuel Johnson, and My Other Experiments in the Practice of Everyday Lifeand The Happiness Project: Or Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Funbut none the worse for that. It reads easily and the story of how Mike fights to complete the mundane and inane as his wife gives birth, his book is Bollywoodised and he meets weekly with the Greek Chorus of his Sunday Night Pub meet friends is fun. It might even inspire you to write That To Do list of all the little things you meant to do but never got round to. I have......
